Summary

As a Network Development Manager at Pullman Fleet Services, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of vehicle maintenance units across the UK. Your primary focus will be to identify and seize opportunities to develop new maintenance facilities or take over existing ones, targeting major supermarket chains and logistics providers. This is a dynamic and strategic role that requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for the growth and the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities for network expansion. Work with the marketing team to identify key decision makers, creating campaigns that drive demand.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the supermarket and logistics sectors. Maintain comprehensive stakeholder mapping plans to ensure market penetration.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to establish new maintenance units or acquire existing ones. Collaborate across the organisation to ensure plans are comprehensive and up to date.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential partners and stakeholders to secure favourable agreements. Work with key procurement and legal partners to ensure commercial contracts are managed effectively.
  • Project Management: Oversee the setup and integration of new maintenance units, ensuring they meet Pullman’s high standards. Mobilise the wider business to ensure a seamless transition from contract to launch.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of new units and implement improvements as needed. Work with the business intelligence team to create and deploy key KPI and SLA information to ensure peak performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, network expansion, or a related field within the automotive or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
